Auburn football fans rip Mississippi State Twitter account’s 3-9 prediction

It’s no secret that the national media is largely disappointed with Auburn football’s prospects of making noise in the SEC West during the 2022 season, but there are other Twitter accounts that are irresponsible about it. .

A Mississippi State fan account fits that description by predicting the Tigers will go 3-9 this fall, well short of the modest projections of six wins that many talking heads envision for Bryan Harsin on the Plains over the course of the second year.

Perhaps the most egregious prediction made in this particular instance was to quite the member out and call a massive upset for Mountain West San Jose State’s mid-pack team in Week 2. While the Spartans beat Bryan Harsin’s Boise State Broncos in 2020 for the Mountain West crown, Harsin won all three regular season matchups (all by double digits) while coaching his alma mater in “the ‘Gemstone Condition’.

Auburn football fans getting wind of this prediction led to antics over this vision beyond the dip on how the 2022 slate will play out for the Tigers (WARNING: NSFW LANGUAGE):

Auburn football plays at Mississippi State in Starkville on Nov. 5

Auburn football has a busy schedule at home in 2022, but one of their two away games in Mississippi will be in Starkville against the Bulldogs in a critical Week 10 duel. Tigers will have gone through an October gauntlet of LSU, Georgia, Ole Miss and Arkansas — the same four from the scary 2021 season.

If Mississippi State goes down, there will be a wake-up call to be made via the recovery of some disreputable Twitter receipts. In fact, a perfect September would result in the same for the OP:

We are five days away from football and 12 from Auburn football. Tension is clearly rising on social media ahead of a do-or-die campaign for Harsinal.
