CIBC Ready to Help Business Clients with CEBA Applications with an Extended Deadline

TORONTO, March 22, 2021 / CNW / – CIBC announced today that it is available to provide business owners with immediate assistance in submitting new applications under the Canada Emergency Business Account (CEBA) Program. The deadline for submitting applications has been extended by the federal government from March 31 to June 30, 2021.

The extension of the deadline applies to any new request for a CEBA loan from $ 60,000 or new applications from companies that have already received a $ 40,000 ready and intend to apply for the supplement $ 20,000.

Business owners whose primary bank is CIBC can simply apply through CIBC Online Banking for Business. After approval by the government of Canada, clients will receive a confirmation email from CIBC and the loan will be deposited into their existing CIBC business operating account.

Businesses with an existing CEBA loan application can apply for an additional loan of $ 20,000 under the Expanded Program once their application is approved.
