Letter: Go out to see the Auburn Doubledays 2021 | Opinion letters

The Auburn Doubledays Booster Club would like to remind the citizens of Cayuga County how fortunate we are to still have a team to cheer on and meet friends at Falcon Park. This team has played exciting baseball and is currently in a position to claim a playoff spot in our new league.

These college players from all over the United States are enthusiastic and play baseball well. If you haven’t made it to the stadium yet, keep in mind that the last home game of this season is scheduled for July 28 (excluding any playoff dates) so players can get back on their feet. university campuses.

You’ll notice that procedures at the concession stands have improved so that you don’t miss any part of the game while queuing for food and drink, a common complaint in recent years.

Many thanks to the Town of Auburn for working with Don and Bob – the new owners – to keep good baseball going and improving the quality of life here in Cayuga County.

We hope you put one of the last games of this season on your to-do list in July, and consider joining the booster club!
