Years of experience as a city councilor have only reinforced my belief that it is local government that has the most impact on daily life. I am proud to stand alongside our local service providers and my work on City Council aims to ensure that these local government services are reliable and always there for us.
During this year’s campaign, I listened to many voters. People say progress has been made in recent years. Listening to people’s ideas, I have identified a platform that will allow our city to continue working to improve recent successes. If I am re-elected, my work will focus on the following points: 1.) maintaining fiscal stability, so that the city remains affordable for property taxpayers; 2.) fight to protect Owasco Lake, the source of our drinking water; 3.) improve our quality of life by expanding neighborhood clean-up initiatives and funding humanitarian aid for people with addictions; 4.) Take advantage of improvements made to our parks and playgrounds by planning recreation for our young people; and, 5.) economic development which includes workforce training initiatives so that job creators can be confident that Auburn is an ideal place to establish and grow a business.
Together, we can build on success and keep Auburn in a stable direction. I ask for your vote, to serve you another four years on city council. Election day is Tuesday, November 2. I respectfully ask for your vote.
