Ohio State Football Among Most Valuable College Programs

The Ohio State football program is continually regarded as one of the most valuable in all of college football. There are times when OSU has been # 1 (depending on year and post), but almost always it is considered one of the Top Ten.

With such a large alumni base, fan following, and success on the pitch, it’s hard to find too many programs as valuable as the one located on the banks of the Olentangy River. We can hardly ever get enough of these types of rankings, and we have another one thanks to the information generated by Forbes for GoBankingRates.

Being a little competitive, I have to admit it’s a little surprising to see some of these programs before Ohio State, but all we can do is continue to see where these things are going.

Here are the 25 most profitable programs based on a three-year average revenue. Some of that comes from media rights, some from a massive fan base, and some from the win on the pitch. Sometimes it’s a combination of all three.
