Auburn‘s new Class of 2022 football signing RB Damari Alston has pledged protection for himself and his Tigers backfield teammates.
The unofficial, outspoken “recruiting director” tweeted simply comes out “OL otw” indicating that the offensive line will soon be reinforced with a big addition.
The “crootin ‘finger” strikes again, folks.
And Tiger fans were thrilled with the development:
I will be launching Hallmark or Netflix for a 90 minute wellness movie called “Croots for Christmas” https://t.co/g3m0FnBVuY

Which OL will be Auburn’s next football engagement?
Bradyn Joiner, from Auburn High School, a 4-star rookie in the 2023 promotion of OL who also plays DL, announces his engagement on New Year’s Day. He will decide between the Tigers and the Georgia Bulldogs.
It would be a pretty disappointing scene if one of Auburn’s members rejected the AU for his longest-serving counterpart in Deep South, but it would be hard to blame him given the SEC’s annual dominance East Kirby Smart has been able to siphon off her guys year after year.
While Joiner isn’t the addition Alston is referring to, and instead the impending engagement is one that will join the squad this coming season, a pair of Virginia OTs are still sitting in the transfer portal without next house: Bobby Haskins and Joseph Bissinger. Cal’s McKade Mettauer is also actively recruited by Bryan Harsin and co.
Any addition to OL would be a welcome sight for Tiger fans, who saw serious difficulties for the unit to open up gaps in the racing game and give Bo Nix (and later TJ Finley) ample time in the pocket for playing games.
We’ll have to see where the “crooked finger” takes us all next.
